Construction Superintendent – Structural (Sohar, Oman)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the structural fabrication of compression platform topsides in Sohar, Oman. The role oversees the full lifecycle from yard activities through load‑out, ensuring safety, quality and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute all structural fabrication activities, coordinating with engineering, contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with project engineering drawings, international standards and company construction procedures.
• Monitor safety protocols, quality controls and progress reporting, identifying issues and driving corrective actions.
• Supervise contractor/sub‑contractor work, review deviations, and manage documentation such as as‑built dossiers.
• Liaise with teams for mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Participate in risk assessments, kickoff and technical meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural supervision of large offshore decks, topsides or living quarters.
• Proven experience working with multinational teams in oil & gas or heavy construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of project execution procedures, field management and offshore facility standards.
• Ability to interpret design standards, specifications and codes.
