Contract Manager – FEED & EPC Projects

About the role

Wood is seeking a Contract Manager to join its Projects team on a one‑year secondment to OQ in Muscat, Oman. The role focuses on administering contracts throughout FEED and detailed design phases, ensuring compliance and supporting successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Administer project contracts during execution and post‑award stages, handling correspondence, deliverables, milestones, variations, claims and change orders.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Project Controls and other stakeholders to resolve day‑to‑day contractual issues.
• Lead contract operations for FEED/EPC contractors, manage commercial interfaces, and support negotiation of variations and claims.
• Ensure contractual compliance with FEED/EPC obligations, support cost control, forecasting and maintain accurate contract records.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks, contribute to EPC tender readiness and participate in ITT preparation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams during FEED and EPC phases in oil & gas or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial risk management and project controls.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and resolve contractual issues efficiently.
