Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

The firm is looking for a motivated Cyber Security Consultant to lead and support client engagements in information security. You will work closely with customers to assess risks, design security solutions, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute client security engagements, including risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Implement and configure security technologies such as Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Identity Management (IDM).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing of networks and web applications using open‑source and third‑party tools.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and hardening guidelines for operating systems, databases, and network components.
• Produce technical reports, presentations and documentation for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• 2‑4+ years of experience in information security and cybersecurity risk management.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NESA, ISR, NIST CSF, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, GDPR, ITIL and COBIT.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., BE, CA, MBA) and certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ISO 27001) are desirable.
• Client‑facing experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism.

Required skills

• Security frameworks: ISO 27001, NESA, ISR, NIST CSF.
• Security technologies: PIM, DLP, IDM, firewalls, encryption, PKI.
• Operating systems and networking: UNIX, Windows, TCP/IP, network hardening.
• Scripting/programming: Perl, PHP, Python, Bash, C/C++, Java.
• Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• ISMS/BCMS implementation and related standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
