Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the finance function of Alpha Marble (FZC) LLC, a marble manufacturing and trading business based in Sohar. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for the day‑to‑day financial operations and supports senior leadership with strategic financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
• Support external audits and maintain robust internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and financial modeling to aid management decisions.
• Partner with operations and senior leadership to evaluate investments, manage financial risk and improve profitability.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, ensuring effective workload management.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management and preparation of management and statutory accounts.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with audit processes, internal controls and compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA or CMA are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in finance management, preferably in manufacturing or construction sectors.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop finance staff.
