Food Retail Auditor

About the role

We are looking for detail‑oriented Food Retail Auditors to assess compliance of retail food establishments with operational, safety and brand standards. The role involves conducting on‑site audits, gathering evidence, and delivering clear, professional reports within set timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site audits of supermarkets, convenience stores and other food service outlets.
• Evaluate compliance with food safety, hygiene, operational and brand guidelines.
• Inspect store conditions, product quality, merchandising, inventory management and customer service.
• Collect audit evidence through observations, photographs and interviews.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and highlight areas of non‑compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout the audit process.
• Coordinate with clients and audit teams to ensure timely completion of assignments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in food retail auditing, quality assurance, food safety or related fields.
• Strong understanding of food retail operations and audit methodologies.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus for Middle‑East locations.
• Ability to travel locally within the assigned country and work independently.
• Excellent observation, analytical and reporting abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient use of smartphones or tablets for data capture.
• Experience with reporting tools for audit documentation.
