HR Officer

About the role

Calo is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to support its growing team across Oman. The role will focus on implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with Omani labor laws, and delivering a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
• Maintain and update employee records, manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes, and monitor attendance.
• Ensure compliance with Omani labor legislation, process visas, work permits, residence permits, and other official documents.
• Act as the primary liaison with the Public Relations Office (PRO) for government‑related matters.
• Address employee grievances, conduct training sessions, and manage disciplinary actions in line with company policies.
• Communicate employee benefits, including additional vacation days, and promote well‑being initiatives.
• Develop and support HR calendar activities and generate monthly attendance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in HR, preferably with exposure to HR systems and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Must be an Omani national.
• Strong knowledge of Omani labor laws and visa/work‑permit procedures.
