Junior Controlling Specialist

About the role

The Junior Controlling Specialist will support the Financial Controlling function by assisting in reporting, analysis, and month‑end closing activities. This role ensures that accurate financial information is available for management decision‑making and that the company’s key performance indicators are monitored effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Support a standardized month‑end closing process and guarantee data accuracy.
• Assist in preparing and delivering internal forecasts, actuals, and external reporting requirements.
• Prepare monthly management reports and presentations using the templates provided by headquarters.
• Analyze variances between actual and expected results, providing comments and insights.
• Collaborate with R&D and commercial teams on quotations and learn to use the CA program.
• Help compile, review, and submit annual budgets to stakeholders.
• Participate in sustainability/ESG verification, perpetual inventory counting, and reconciliation activities.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc reporting requests and propose improvements to existing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in finance; audit experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to establish cause‑effect relationships.
• Detail‑oriented, data‑driven, and proactive in suggesting process enhancements.
• Curious, persistent, and willing to learn with a “can‑do” attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SAP FI‑CO.
