Operations Manager – MEP/FM

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and Facilities Management (FM) services across multiple sites. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality maintenance, ensuring compliance, and driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee MEP and FM operations for assigned projects and locations.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet contractual requirements and service level agreements.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise technical teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Develop and implement operational procedures, maintenance plans, and performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, resource allocation, and operational costs.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and management updates.
• Identify process optimisation opportunities to support business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in MEP and FM operations, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of delivering operational excellence and client satisfaction.
• Experience managing large‑scale commercial, residential or industrial facilities, preferably in the GCC region.
• Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices and relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
