Primary Teacher (SEN) – August 2026 – Oman

About the role

The school is seeking a Primary Teacher with Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience to join the team in August 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching lower primary or Key Stage One students and will work within a blended curriculum that includes the International Cambridge programme, the Ministry of Education’s Basic Education Program, and the International Baccalaureate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for lower primary pupils, incorporating SEN strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate the Cambridge, Basic Education, and IB curricula.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support for SEN learners.
• Participate in High Performance Learning (HPL) initiatives and school-wide professional development.
• Utilise school facilities such as the gym, playgrounds, padel courts, and swimming pool for extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree closely related to the teaching subject.
• Qualified teacher status (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Under 60 years of age.
• Successful completion of safer recruitment checks.
