Product Owner – Omani Candidate for Mobile Fintech

About the role

We are seeking an Omani Product Owner to lead the development and launch of our mobile digital wallet solutions in Oman. You will act as the single point of contact for all product and technology initiatives, working closely with cross‑functional teams and regulators to ensure market success.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product journey from idea generation, business case development, delivery, launch, and continuous improvement for Oman‑focused products.
• Drive product ideation using market intelligence, aligning initiatives with company strategy, customer needs, and commercial priorities.
• Optimize the mobile app experience by identifying friction points, reducing support dependency, and enhancing onboarding and self‑service capabilities.
• Partner with operations to identify inefficiencies, create scalable solutions, and ensure operational readiness for new features.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by working with the local compliance team to obtain necessary approvals and meet Omani regulations.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to translate insights into product enhancements and growth opportunities.
• Use data‑driven decision making to prioritize features, evaluate performance, and track impact on the Oman budget.

Required profile

• Omani national with proven experience in product management or product ownership, preferably in fintech or mobile applications.
• Hands‑on, cross‑functional leader comfortable working with regulators, operations, compliance, technology, marketing, and customer service teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop go‑to‑market strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
