Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects for a leading construction firm in Muscat, Oman. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physical progress in line with the approved baseline programme.
• Plan, sequence, and mobilise construction activities and resources.
• Identify critical path risks early and propose mitigation measures.
• Control project costs within the approved budget and provide cost‑to‑complete updates.
• Direct site operations, workforce deployment, and daily work sequencing.
• Coordinate subcontractors, monitor their programme, quality, and safety performance.
• Ensure material requisitions are raised on time and maintain site security and housekeeping.
• Guarantee construction works meet quality standards and implement safety controls.
• Maintain positive client and consultant relationships and act as the first escalation point for site‑related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in the construction industry.
• 1–2 years of experience in a Project Manager role (preferred).
• Previous construction experience in Oman (preferred).
