Relationship Manager - Mid Market

About the role

We are looking for a Relationship Manager – Mid Market to lead and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering high‑quality banking solutions and ensuring strong customer engagement. The role contributes to the bank’s strategic objectives by generating new business, managing existing relationships and maintaining portfolio profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue income‑generating opportunities within defined markets and industries to meet annual budget targets.
• Manage existing client accounts, maximize profitability, and ensure compliance with the bank’s Group Credit policy.
• Establish new relationships with prospective corporate customers in the assigned sector.
• Monitor high‑risk situations, initiate early interventions, and support recovery processes.
• Engage with current and potential key customers to sustain profitable relationships and cross‑sell bank products and services.
• Prepare timely, high‑quality credit proposals in line with authority limits and approval processes.
• Maintain awareness of credit policies, IFRS9 standards, overdue exposures, limit breaches, and document compliance trackers.

Required profile

• Omani national.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking sector or a related financial environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS9 credit accounting standards.
