Reservation Supervisor

About the role

The Reservation Supervisor will lead the reservations team at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, ensuring seamless booking processes, maximizing revenue, and delivering exceptional guest service. This role combines operational oversight with sales-driven initiatives in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue across all reservation channels.
• Handle room and group reservations using the Opera (or equivalent) system, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of rates, promotions, and credit policies, applying them consistently.
• Answer all incoming reservation calls, provide product knowledge, and promote up‑selling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Monitor online reservation platforms (CRS, extranets) multiple times daily, updating rates and availability.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to the Reservations Manager.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as filing, fax handling, and guarantee procedures.
• Collaborate with sales and other departments to identify and act on sales leads.

Required profile

• Thorough understanding of hotel reservation and group booking procedures.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional and helpful attitude.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with hotel credit policies and revenue management concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera reservation system (or similar property management system).
• Experience using Central Reservation Systems (CRS) and online booking extranets.
