Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead financial reporting, tax compliance and finance governance while ensuring strong control over accounting processes and SAP S/4HANA systems. The role supports business initiatives and new models by providing sound financial guidance and driving a standardized finance practice across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and related reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS and local tax regulations (VAT, WHT, corporate tax).
• Maintain month‑end and year‑end closing processes, GL controls and inventory accounting.
• Manage tax filings, VAT returns, WHT applications and corporate income tax computations.
• Oversee e‑Invoicing compliance and monitor tax law changes.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial performance insights.
• Lead and mentor junior accountants, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; professional certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, tax compliance and SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end/year‑end close and internal control frameworks.
