Senior Associate – Risk

About the role

Tanmia is seeking a Senior Associate (or Associate) to lead and enhance its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. The role will ensure robust identification, monitoring and mitigation of risks across all business activities while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Tanmia’s ERM framework aligned with COSO and industry best practices.
• Maintain and continuously update the Risk Register, capturing emerging, operational and investment risks.
• Integrate risk assessments throughout the investment lifecycle, from deal origination to exit.
• Prepare qualitative and quantitative risk reports for Executive Management, the Risk & Audit Committee and the Board.
• Advise on risk aspects of new financial products, funds or structures and support internal control strengthening.
• Ensure full compliance with Financial Service Authority (FSA) regulations and act as primary liaison with regulators.
• Conduct regular reviews of investment and operational processes to identify and control risk exposures.
• Promote risk awareness across the organization through training and communication programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
• Strong understanding of COSO framework and risk‑register methodologies.
• Ability to produce clear risk reports for senior leadership and board committees.
• Excellent communication skills and capability to work collaboratively across departments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with COSO ERM framework.
• Proficiency in maintaining and analysing risk registers.
