Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver high‑quality electrical engineering services for oil and gas projects. The role involves leading technical activities, supporting procurement and construction, and ensuring compliance with statutory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering services on time, within budget, and to applicable standards.
• Initiate, manage, and supervise project requirements, including meetings, progress reports, and change management.
• Provide technical assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning (e.g., write requisitions, evaluate bids, issue purchase orders).
• Act as Electrical Engineering Lead on assigned projects and, when responsible for a team, outline requirements, assign tasks, and supervise progress.
• Resolve discrepancies between Worley and customer requirements and keep up‑to‑date with technical innovations.
• Support junior engineers and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong technical and practical engineering skills with a proven record of delivering accurate work.
• Sound knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering principles and relevant local/international standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas sector.
• Experience working in multi‑disciplinary projects and teams.

Required skills

• Competent use of electrical engineering specific software.
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
