Senior Full Stack Java Developer – Muscat

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our team in Muscat on a long‑term contract. The role involves building enterprise‑grade web applications using Java and modern front‑end technologies, and collaborating with architects, analysts and QA to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and modern front‑end technologies.
- Develop scalable backend services with Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
- Build responsive user interfaces with Angular 20, HTML5, CSS3, and Thymeleaf.
- Develop and maintain applications on the Liferay portal, including custom portlets, themes, and services.
- Design, develop, and optimise Oracle 19c database objects, write SQL/PLSQL, and perform performance tuning.
- Integrate internal and external systems via RESTful APIs and web services.
- Participate in architecture, technical design discussions and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues, provide bug fixes and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Follow coding standards, security best practices and produce technical documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of full‑stack Java development experience.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale applications.
- Experience with Oracle databases and Liferay‑based solutions (highly preferred).
- Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment.
