Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor will oversee all activities within the restaurant kitchen at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, ensuring a safe, efficient and profitable operation that meets the brand’s high culinary standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise daily kitchen operations, maintaining safety, smooth workflow and profitability.
• Develop and uphold cuisine concepts, food preparation and presentation standards.
• Monitor local market trends and recommend seasonal menu adjustments.
• Achieve budget targets by controlling food cost through proper inventory, requisition, pars and control systems.
• Enforce Anantara’s food preparation guidelines and continuously suggest improvements.
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation and proper storage practices.
• Forecast weekly business demand to optimise staffing and production.
• Ensure outlet safety, conduct monthly preventative maintenance inspections and manage assets.
• Lead training initiatives to raise departmental skills and service levels.
• Supervise, hire and discipline associates in partnership with the Executive Chef.
• Foster positive inter‑departmental communication and lead by a hands‑on example.
