Technical Architecture Lead

About the role

Portolearn is looking for a Technical Architecture Lead to drive the implementation, integration, testing, and continuous improvement of its business technology solutions. The role will operate within a dynamic technology environment in the Sultanate of Oman and will require close collaboration with project teams, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders. You will ensure reliable and effective delivery of technology solutions while maintaining compliance with IT standards and security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation, deployment, and integration of technology solutions.
• Participate in technical design and solution development.
• Configure, test, deploy, and enhance applications.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues and contribute to root‑cause analysis.
• Work closely with developers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor system performance, identify risks, and propose improvement opportunities.
• Support incident management, change requests, automation, and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, security requirements, and established procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT, software development, system support, or system implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
