Product Designer – Mechanical & Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Product Designer specialized in mechanical and manufacturing engineering to join our team in Muscat. You will take concepts through to fully manufacturable products, working closely with design, prototyping and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models, assemblies and detailed technical drawings using Fusion 360.
• Develop practical sheet‑metal and mechanical system designs ready for CNC machining, laser cutting, bending and 3D printing.
• Prepare manufacturing files, bills of materials and technical documentation.
• Support prototyping, fabrication, testing and iterative product improvement.
• Coordinate with workshop and fabrication teams during production runs.
• Assist quality‑control and prototype validation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development or manufacturing.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Fusion 360 (mandatory)
• Sheet‑metal design and mechanical system design
• Load distribution analysis and real‑world mechanical behavior

• Experience with motors, actuators, valves and basic electrical systems
