PV Expert Engineer – Utility-Scale Solar (14 months)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies Middle East is looking for a senior PV Expert Engineer to lead the installation, testing and commissioning of a utility‑scale solar photovoltaic plant in Duqm, Oman. The role involves supervising all on‑site electrical works, ensuring quality compliance and supporting performance verification over a 14‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise utility‑scale PV installation works, including module, inverter and tracker installation.
• Monitor PV module placement, inverter integration and tracker alignment.
• Oversee DC and AC collection system installation and ensure proper electrical interfaces.
• Coordinate construction quality, compliance checks and interface with other trades.
• Witness and support testing, commissioning and system performance verification.
• Review technical documentation, inspection records and manage punch‑list resolution.
• Facilitate final handover and project close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on utility‑scale solar PV projects.
• Proven experience with PV modules, inverters, tracker systems and DC/AC collection networks.
• Hands‑on construction supervision and commissioning background.
• Experience with large‑scale IPP/EPC renewable projects is preferred.
