Wind Engineer – Turbine Erection & Commissioning (Renewables)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies Middle East is looking for an experienced Wind Engineer to supervise the erection, electrical integration, commissioning and reliability testing of wind turbine generators on a 15‑month contract in Duqm, Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑time on‑site supervision of wind turbine generator (WTG) erection.
• Monitor mechanical and electrical installation activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Supervise turbine assembly, installation and inter‑array electrical‑grid connections.
• Coordinate turbine interfaces with civil and electrical teams.
• Witness and support commissioning activities, start‑up and reliability testing.
• Review construction quality and identify technical issues for resolution.
• Support testing, completion and hand‑over processes.
• Maintain documentation of installation and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in wind‑turbine erection and commissioning.
• Proven experience on utility‑scale onshore wind projects.
• Strong site‑based construction supervision background.
• International or GCC project experience is advantageous.
