Senior System Analyst – Enterprise & Financial Systems

About the role

KalSoft is seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst to join its on‑site team in Oman. The role bridges business and technology, focusing on financial and taxation systems, enterprise documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and validate requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of taxation and financial systems, evaluating functionality, performance and future readiness.
• Perform gap analysis, identify automation opportunities and propose optimized solutions.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, use cases, workflows and related documentation.
• Act as primary liaison between business users, IT teams and third‑party vendors, managing deliverables and SLAs.
• Identify, document and verify system defects, lead regression testing and support issue resolution.
• Develop test plans, lead UAT and ensure successful system validation.
• Document system architecture, process maps, data flows and integration points.
• Create and maintain SOPs, user manuals, training materials and version‑controlled documentation.
• Monitor post‑implementation performance, conduct audits and capture lessons learned.
• Prepare status reports, presentations and conduct end‑user training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 8 + years experience as a System Analyst in enterprise environments.
• At least 5 + years working with financial systems (ERP, accounting or financial management solutions).
• 3 + years experience with taxation platforms or related systems.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate large‑scale system enhancements.
