Account Manager – Financial, Oil & Gas, Government

About the role

Huawei Technologies is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead business development in Oman’s Financial, Oil & Gas, and Government sectors. You will drive end‑to‑end sales, expand client relationships, and coordinate channel partners to deliver high‑value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep relationships with key clients in the Financial, Oil & Gas, and Government sectors across Oman.
• Lead key account projects, coordinating internal and external resources to ensure successful deal closure.
• Manage local channel partners and vendors for business development and project delivery.
• Drive sales of Western OEM products and solutions, identify industry needs, and achieve sales targets.
• Define regional sales strategies, lead the team to penetrate target industries, and build benchmark projects.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably based in Oman.
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics and business practices.
• Proven experience working with channels and vendors in the Financial, Oil & Gas, or Government sectors.
• Previous experience with Western OEM brands such as Cisco, Dell, IBM, etc.
• Solid track record in B2B sales within the target industries.
• Sales team management experience; prior sales leader role is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, familiar with Omani business culture.
• Ability to independently manage large‑scale projects.
