About the role

Join the St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort team as a Carpenter responsible for delivering high‑quality preventative maintenance across guest rooms, meeting spaces and public areas. You will ensure each space meets the resort’s luxury standards through routine upkeep and minor repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks such as flipping mattresses, vacuuming, deep‑cleaning carpets, touch‑up painting, dusting, and bathroom cleaning.
• Inspect and maintain appliances, light fixtures, grout, and caulking to ensure they are functional and presentable.
• Carry out minor repairs including tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
• Report serious maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual findings to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and uphold confidentiality.
• Assist guests courteously and anticipate service needs as part of the hospitality team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related maintenance or housekeeping experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching overhead, bending, lifting up to 50 lb, and moving objects.
