Chef De Cuisine (Fine Dining Restaurant)

About the role

Six Senses Zighy Bay is seeking a Chef De Cuisine to lead the culinary team in a luxury, fine‑dining environment. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver innovative, sustainable, and wellness‑focused dining experiences that reflect the brand’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef and manage day‑to‑day kitchen operations.
• Continuously rejuvenate the culinary experience, reviewing menus and wine lists to align with Six Senses practices.
• Implement purchasing practices that meet nutrition and sustainability standards.
• Instill a cost‑focused philosophy through staff training and education.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, financial, safety, and security requirements.
• Maintain documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, and budgetary controls.
• Uphold LQA standards and respond to guest feedback.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary diploma preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a full‑service, luxury hotel or similar outlet.
• Proficient knowledge of broiler equipment, meat and fish cookery, and farm‑to‑table concepts.
• Excellent knife skills and a solid understanding of food safety certifications (alcohol awareness, health/food handler card).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel independently.
