Receiving Officer (Resort)

About the role

The Receiving Officer will ensure smooth receipt, inspection, and storage of all goods arriving at Six Senses Zighy Bay, supporting the resort’s commitment to sustainability, wellness and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify all deliveries against purchase orders, invoices and specifications.
• Inspect food quality and coordinate approvals with the Executive Chef or Purchasing Manager.
• Store, price, rotate and maintain inventory for food, engineering, retail, spa, flowers and other specialty items.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure par levels are met and manage store requisitions.
• Collaborate with the Storeroom Host to keep inventory organized, safe and sanitary.
• Address daily operational issues and guest complaints, providing prompt solutions.
• Uphold Six Senses standards, LQA requirements and business integrity in vendor interactions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent in Finance/Purchasing or Supply; hospitality diploma/degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar receiving role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong English communication skills, ability to work in a multicultural team and live on-site for extended periods.
