Production Planning Engineer

About the role

The Production Planning Engineer will join the planning team to develop and maintain optimized production schedules for multiple cable products. You will work closely with operations, quality, maintenance and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production workflow for multiple finished goods and prioritize operations to maximise performance.
• Determine equipment, raw material and semi‑finished material requirements to meet demand.
• Assist in preparing and revising the Manufacturing Completion Program (MCP) and communicate updates to relevant departments.
• Ensure full machine utilisation, schedule shifts, control WIP inventory and monitor production lines against schedule and budget.
• Enter and analyse MES data, monitor scrap levels and support preventive and breakdown maintenance planning.
• Collaborate with QC for final and client inspections and prepare regular status and performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Process or related).
• 2‑5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in cable manufacturing.
• Strong communication in English and proven ability to make timely decisions.
• Good organisational, problem‑solving and relationship‑management skills.
