Sales Representative – Ophthalmology Diagnostic & Refractive

About the role
AMICO is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote its ophthalmology diagnostic and refractive products across Oman. You will work directly with surgeons, clinicians and healthcare facilities to generate sales, support product installation and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales forecasts and action plans aligned with company strategy.
- Prospect new accounts, build and maintain relationships with surgeons, nursing and clinical staff.
- Present, demonstrate and sell ophthalmic diagnostic devices, including refraction systems, OCT, visual field analyzers and corneal topography equipment.
- Participate in regional conferences, workshops and promotional events.
- Provide technical support during equipment installation, start‑up, training and maintenance.
- Monitor competitor activity, report market feedback and update sales performance metrics.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy or a related field.
- 1‑3 years of experience in medical device sales or a strong interest in selling (fresh graduates considered).
- Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build persuasive relationships and demonstrate strong business acumen.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with ophthalmic diagnostic devices.
- Knowledge of refraction systems.
- Familiarity with optical coherence tomography (OCT).
- Experience with visual field analyzers.
- Understanding of corneal topography equipment.
