Senior Associate – Internal Audit (Risk)

About the role

PwC’s Risk Consulting team in Oman is seeking a Senior Associate to support internal audit and technology risk engagements. The role involves working with regional clients to identify, assess and mitigate cyber and technology risks while providing actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a diverse regional team to help leading enterprises identify, analyze, prioritize, and respond to technology risks.
• Advise top management, cybersecurity, internal audit, compliance and risk management functions on technology risk matters.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of information security and cybersecurity threats, trends and technologies.
• Assess existing and emerging technology risks and test the design and effectiveness of technology controls.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to safeguard clients’ systems and data.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend risk response plans.
• Support clients in mitigating security and technology risks, including organizational resilience and disaster recovery activities.

Required profile

• Senior Associate level with experience in risk, internal audit or cybersecurity engagements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and international teams.
• Excellent communication skills for advising senior stakeholders.
