Cluster Sales Coordinator

About the role

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Cluster Sales Coordinator for its Al Baleed Resort in Salalah, Oman. The role centres on managing the hotel's current account base, developing new client contacts and supporting the achievement of personal financial and non-financial sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the priority of the current account base and direct personal effort accordingly.
• Support the development of new client contacts and maintain detailed information on potential revenue from these accounts.
• Achieve personal financial and non-financial objectives with department leadership.
• Take responsibility for own professional development, including financial literacy, negotiation and face-to-face selling skills, aiming to become a future Sales Leader.
• Maintain accurate management reporting on business results and action plans, and practice cost control while following expenditure approval procedures.
• Take part in client familiarization trips, site inspections, sales trips and roadshows as required.
• Liaise with operational colleagues such as Front Office, Reservations and Events to ensure accurate delivery of the guest promise.
• Drive opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Anantara products.
• Keep up to date with sales tools, including sales software, property management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Process paperwork (letters, emails, contracts, reports) quickly and efficiently, and help maintain client databases for promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Assist guests and clients proactively, professionally and friendly.
