Operations and Maintenance Manager

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead a dedicated drilling and rig equipment repair workshop in Muscat, Oman. This hands‑on position will oversee all workshop activities, ensuring equipment reliability for major oil‑and‑gas operators in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a workshop team of approximately 50 technicians and engineers.
• Plan, schedule and supervise maintenance and repair of drilling rigs, mud pumps, and related sub‑structures.
• Ensure compliance with API Q1 and ASME standards throughout all maintenance processes.
• Coordinate with drilling contractors and oil‑and‑gas clients to meet service level agreements.
• Monitor inventory, spare parts, and workshop safety procedures.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the drilling industry, specifically in maintenance of drilling and rig equipment.
• Previous work with drilling contractors or companies that service rig equipment.
• Proven leadership experience managing large workshop teams.
• Familiarity with Gulf and Middle‑East operating environments.
