Sales Engineer – HVAC (VRF) – Retail

About the role

To achieve and exceed sales targets for HVAC projects focusing on VRF, DX and Ducted Cassette systems. The role builds a strong pipeline of project opportunities, nurtures customer relationships and drives profitability for the Air Conditioning Projects Division.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, generate and convert HVAC project enquiries into confirmed orders through technical and commercial engagement.
• Develop and expand the customer base by exploring new market segments.
• Design HVAC solutions, prepare cost estimates and produce competitive proposals aligned with client requirements.
• Ensure timely collection of payments to support cash flow and project profitability.
• Maintain a balanced and profitable sales portfolio across industries and geographies.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to shape sales strategy and product positioning.
• Liaise with internal design, procurement and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in HVAC project sales or marketing, preferably in Oman.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) and/or postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business Administration.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems (VRF, DX, Ducted Cassette).
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and estimation/design tools.
• Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape.
• Valid Oman/Middle East driving licence (preferred).
