Air Conditioning (AC) Technician

About the role

Petra LLC is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning (AC) Technician to join its team. The successful candidate will handle installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair compressors, motors, controls, and refrigeration components.
• Prepare service reports and communicate findings to supervisors.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Valid driving licence (advantageous).
• Good communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.

Required skills

• HVAC installation, maintenance and repair.
• Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis.
• Reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of split ACs, package units, ducted systems, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs) and chillers.
