Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Interior Fit‑Out (Oman)

About the role

The client is a growing interior design and fit‑out company in Oman, delivering high‑end commercial, hospitality, retail and corporate projects. They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to prepare cost estimates, manage budgets and provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and quantity take‑offs for interior fit‑out projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Monitor project costs, variations and change orders, and produce monthly valuations and cost reports.
• Assist in contract administration, commercial management and procurement activities.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in interior fit‑out, preferably on commercial, hospitality or retail projects.
• Strong understanding of fit‑out construction methods, materials and procurement processes.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and negotiation abilities, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to relocate and reside in Oman.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with estimating software.
