Asset Management Associate

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Asset Management Associate to join our client’s head office in Muscat for a 6‑12 month on‑site engagement. The role focuses on monitoring asset performance, supporting turnaround initiatives, and aligning subsidiary strategies with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support alignment of subsidiary business plans with corporate strategy and review financial plans and KPIs.
• Evaluate CapEx and budget proposals, track operational risk registers, and prepare recommendations for subsidiary boards.
• Review central dashboards, synthesize portfolio performance, benchmark KPIs, and ensure timely data submission.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost drivers and link supply‑chain insights to financial outcomes.
• Track turnaround initiatives, assess restructuring impacts, and propose cost‑reduction or divestment strategies.
• Conduct ROI, break‑even, and sensitivity analyses for operational and investment decisions.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports and maintain monitoring trackers.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, or business planning.
• Experience in multi‑subsidiary environments, preferably in food, manufacturing, or agriculture sectors.
• Familiarity with turnaround strategies, restructuring, and performance enhancement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CPA are a plus.
