Assistant Manager – Compensation & Benefits

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Compensation & Benefits will oversee payroll, compensation, benefits, leave and attendance administration, and related HR operational processes for National Finance. The role ensures accurate, timely transactions, statutory compliance, data integrity, and high‑quality employee service while supporting compensation analysis and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end monthly payroll, including salaries, deductions, allowances, overtime, variable pay, transfers and reconciliations.
• Review payroll outputs, resolve discrepancies and respond to employee enquiries.
• Administer final settlements, promotions, salary changes, internal transfers and employee movements.
• Oversee statutory payroll submissions and PASI reconciliation.
• Administer medical insurance, benefits, allowances and other compensation arrangements.
• Provide guidance and quality review to the Compensation & Benefits team.
• Manage leave and attendance administration, monitoring exceptions and trends.
• Maintain accurate HRMS data, employee records, personnel files and payroll documentation.
• Prepare payroll, compensation, attendance, employee‑cost and operational reports.
• Support salary planning, promotion and variable‑pay processes and provide data for benchmarking and reward‑framework reviews.
• Ensure compliance with employment terms, policies, internal controls and applicable laws.
• Identify operational gaps and implement approved controls, automation and process improvements.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee‑lifecycle administration and HR projects as required.
