Associate – International Projects, Energy & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced associate to join our International Projects, Energy and Infrastructure team in Oman. The role focuses on power and water projects, PPPs, infrastructure development and oil & gas work for both domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Work with developers and procurers of energy and infrastructure projects across Oman and the GCC.
• Manage large and complex transactions under partner supervision, including reviewing and drafting bespoke contracts.
• Analyse contractual positions and support other departments as needed.
• Build and maintain client relationships, participate in marketing initiatives, and deliver client training seminars.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at a reputable law firm.
• Excellent academic record with a law degree, preferably from a common‑law jurisdiction.
• Previous experience in the Omani market and fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel within the GCC and a proactive, flexible attitude.
