Associate People Operations

About the role

The Associate People Operations role supports the HR department by handling administrative tasks, onboarding, employee experience initiatives, regulatory compliance, record keeping, engagement activities, and payroll coordination. You will act as a key liaison between new hires, existing staff, and regional teams to ensure smooth HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain onboarding trackers, coordinate pre‑onboarding requirements and support new joiners during their first week.
• Update group email lists and Slack channels, prepare announcements for new hires and public updates.
• Conduct PEAKON analysis, promote best‑practice culture and organize quarterly engagement activities aligned with Talabat’s core values.
• Manage legal certifications, quality approvals and documentation for regulatory inspections.
• Update employee benefits, employment status, and perform file audits for Ministry of Labour compliance.
• Assist with exit interviews, track terminated employee residency, insurance and social security cancellations.
• Coordinate payroll data with specialist teams and prepare monthly budget vs. expenditure reports.
• Prepare offline offer letters, conduct culture‑fit interviews, and manage onboarding for store staff.
• Track disciplinary actions for store staff and support payroll processing for Q‑Commerce.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to address employee queries and grievances.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
