Audit & Assurance Associate (Oman)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Audit & Assurance Associate to join its Oman team. You will work on a variety of audit engagements, applying Deloitte’s methodology and tools to deliver high‑quality audit outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Address audit and risk advisory priorities in line with stakeholder requirements.
• Apply relevant accounting standards and perform risk‑assessment procedures to identify material misstatement risks.
• Deliver high‑quality audits using Global Audit Imperatives, methodology, and guidance.
• Formulate reasonable judgments and conclusions to provide timely, informative outputs.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards, local laws, ethical standards, independence requirements, and Deloitte’s quality control procedures.

Required profile

• Demonstrates understanding of Deloitte’s purpose and values and shows personal accountability.
• Committed to continuous learning and personal development.
• Effective communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Degree in accounting, auditing or a related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
