Barista – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join our Food & Beverage team in Muscat. This full‑time position involves preparing coffee and food items, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Take guest orders, enter them into the MICROS POS system, and prepare coffee beverages and food items.
• Operate and maintain coffee makers and other appliances, turning them on/off as needed.
• Bus coffee cart areas and tables, clean dishes, utensils, work surfaces, and equipment throughout the shift.
• Handle cash, count the bank at shift end, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and respect guest privacy.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive motions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Cash handling and basic accounting skills.
• Operation of coffee machines and related equipment.
