About the role
We are looking for a qualified Boiler Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial steam boilers and associated systems in Muscat. The role involves working closely with boiler operators to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and piping.
- Troubleshoot boiler and burner faults and support start‑up and shutdown procedures.
- Maintain feedwater, condensate, blowdown, and steam‑distribution systems.
- Inspect safety devices, gauges, strainers, and mechanical components.
- Maintain service records and respond to emergency breakdowns.
Required profile
- Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial boiler‑maintenance experience.
- Ability to perform repairs independently and support operators during equipment problems.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of steam boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and safety devices.
- Experience with water‑treatment and steam‑distribution systems.
