Business Analyst for Greenfield Central Securities Depository

About the role

We are building a greenfield central securities depository in Oman, slated to launch in 2027. As a Business Analyst you will sit at the heart of the programme, turning complex design and operational concepts into clear, structured documentation while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, structure and maintain delivery artefacts such as process maps, workflow diagrams, design documents, decision logs, operational procedures, runbook drafts, training materials and regulatory papers.
• Ensure documentation consistency across the programme by applying common templates, terminology, version control and style guidelines.
• Act as the primary user of the Claude large‑language model: craft effective prompts, iterate on drafts and rigorously validate AI‑generated output.
• Identify AI‑driven efficiencies, for example generating test plans from design documents or training material from runbooks.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Operations Lead, Head of Operations Control and other business owners to map current‑state and target‑state processes.
• Maintain the programme RAID log and support the Project Manager with plan updates, dependency tracking and status reporting.
• Generate test artefacts—including test plans, test cases, data requirements and traceability matrices—from upstream design documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a business analyst, process analyst or in a documentation‑intensive role, preferably within financial services or another regulated sector.
• Strong ability to translate verbal discussions into clear, structured written output.
• Fast learner who can quickly absorb domain knowledge about central securities depositories, settlement processes, registry maintenance, corporate actions and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using process‑mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro or equivalents.
• Hands‑on fluency with Claude or a comparable large‑language model.
