About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen operations in Muscat. The ideal candidate combines European culinary training with a strong background in Pan‑Asian cuisine, delivering high‑quality dishes while driving guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring consistent, high‑standard food production.
• Develop, design, and update menus and recipes that reflect both European and Pan‑Asian influences.
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards.
• Manage purchasing, receiving, and storage to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
• Monitor equipment performance, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Implement environmentally friendly practices for energy use and waste management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of culinary experience, or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse kitchen team and manage day‑to‑day operations.
• Strong understanding of food handling regulations and brand safety standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
