About the role
The Kitchen Technician provides technical support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment. Working closely with kitchen and maintenance teams, the technician ensures that all appliances operate safely and efficiently, contributing to a well‑functioning kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot faults, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, coordinating with vendors for parts and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and spare‑part inventories.
- Train kitchen staff on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and energy‑efficient practices.
- Support kitchen renovation or remodeling projects by providing technical expertise.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross‑functional teams to resolve complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all work activities.
