Civil Engineer – On‑Job Training Program

About the role

STRABAG Oman LLC offers a 15‑month structured on‑job training program for fresh civil engineering graduates. The programme combines practical site work, departmental rotations and an international assignment to develop well‑rounded construction professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a 13‑month rotation across different STRABAG Oman departments, gaining exposure to all project phases.
• Participate in real construction projects, applying academic knowledge to hands‑on tasks.
• Receive continuous mentoring, regular feedback and development discussions from senior engineers.
• Undertake a 3‑month international assignment at another STRABAG branch to learn global best practices.
• Take on increasing responsibilities early in the programme, preparing for a permanent role.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or related technical discipline).
• Less than one year of relevant work experience.
• Strong interest in technical development within the construction industry.
• Eager, motivated and enthusiastic about new challenges.
• Flexible and willing to travel locally and internationally.
• High level of self‑responsibility and dedication.
