Cluster MICE & Group Manager

About the role

The Cluster MICE & Group Manager will lead all MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) and group sales activities for Alila Hinu Bay, a luxury beachfront resort in Oman. Reporting to senior management, the role combines strategic sales development with hands‑on event coordination to attract high‑profile corporate and leisure groups.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new MICE business across local, GCC, and international markets through targeted sales strategies.
• Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and luxury destination management companies.
• Design and promote tailored packages, promotions, and partnerships to maximise revenue.
• Represent the resort at trade shows, roadshows and networking events.
• Collaborate with internal operations, F&B and banqueting teams to ensure flawless event execution.
• Manage event budgets, timelines and logistics while maintaining brand standards.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Conduct market research, track MICE trends and produce regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience in MICE sales or luxury event management.
• Strong network within corporate, MICE and luxury travel sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
