Construction Superintendent (Piping)

About the role

The Construction Superintendent (Piping) will lead the planning, fabrication, and erection of piping systems for offshore structures on a 36‑month contract in Sohar, Oman. The role ensures safe, on‑schedule delivery of the CP Topsides piping scope while coordinating closely with engineering, contractor, and client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage piping fabrication and installation activities to meet project schedule and safety targets.
• Control workmanship quality, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering to resolve site clashes and provide practical solutions.
• Maintain strong interfaces between company and contractor teams for issue resolution and alignment.
• Oversee mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Preserve all piping as per approved specifications and promote a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising piping fabrication and installation on offshore or onshore projects.
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality, and construction execution processes.
• Ability to manage resources, technical expertise, and contractor performance.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills for site management.
