Construction Supervisor – SMP (Omani Nationals Only)

About the role

Lycopodium is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor for its SMP project in Oman. The role focuses on overseeing site‑based construction activities, ensuring compliance with client, regulatory and contractual requirements while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the quality of output for all allocated site‑discipline activities.
• Oversee the technical competence of contractors to meet contract drawings and specifications.
• Implement and monitor procedures, work practices, plans and protocols for efficient site operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, community, industrial relations and quality plans.
• Coordinate with client and internal teams to align project deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong background in site construction and supervision, especially in mineral processing plant or infrastructure projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of statutory and industry standards in OHSE, IR and HR.
• Proven experience in technical and quality‑control requirements of construction disciplines.
• Solid understanding of contract management and controls.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Experience as an iron worker or pipefitter (essential).
• Preferred experience supervising erection of steel structures, tanks and installation of SAG and ball mills.
