Data Analyst

About the role

Munich Re's MedNet Global Health Care Solutions L.L.C., a managed care service organization serving healthcare needs, is looking for a Data Analyst. The role covers the preparation and execution of data analysis, statistical evaluation and root cause analysis across functional business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Assist operational departments in extracting and analysing data from Business Intelligence tools.
• Discuss market trends with business units and develop new reports to help them meet their targets.
• Create and build internal and external reports and dashboards.
• Interpret results and prepare PowerPoint presentations for business and client meetings.
• Automate regulatory reports so they can be generated according to set frequencies.
• Consolidate data into one centre, identify relationships and build a triggering report for stakeholders to review their processes.
• Handle other tasks and projects assigned by the department head.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics (with an emphasis on applied mathematics or informatics).
• 3-4 years of experience in data analysis; healthcare data analysis experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Essential: advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and OBIEE.
• Plus: Tableau, Power BI, data modelling, SQL, Python, R and advanced knowledge of relational databases.
